International Building Code Overview

This fast-paced seminar explores the major provisions of the 2006 International Building Code. The presentation will introduce students to the provisions of the code including: occupancy classification, types of construction, means of egress, fire sprinklers and fire-resistive-rated construction, administrative provisions and accessibility. This class is designed to provide an introduction to the code. The class will also discuss the relationship between the contractor and the building department.

Must Pre – register, no later than April 16, 2010.  Code books are required to attend.
